OPAL
In September 2023 St Andrew's started our OPAL adventure. The play team consist of Mrs Spooner, Mrs Bowman, Mr Sharp and Mrs Henson)
In November 2024 we achieved our platiunum status!
OPAL stands for Outdoor Play and Learning. The staff had training on what this entailed and we began the journey to refresh our playground. We created a plan for how we want the playground to develop.This is a link to the OPAL website that explains what OPAL is all about.
Each time we open a new zone we hold an assembly with the children to decide on how to use that zone safely.
