Our School Day

During the current pandemic, our school day will vary from the pattern below.  

Our school day follows the pattern below:

For children in Reception and Year 5&6 

8.50am    School begins 

9.00am    Collective Worship

9.30am    Learning time

10.30am  Playtime

10.45am  Learning Time

12.10pm  Lunchtime

1pm   Learning Time 

3:20pm  School finishes for the day

For children in Year 1, 2, 3&4

8.50am  School begins

9.00am Collective Worship  

9.30am  Learning time

10.45am   Playtime

11:00am Learning Time 

12.10pm  Lunchtime

1pm  Learning Time

3.20pm  School finishes for the day

Classrooms open every morning at 8.40am.  Children are able to enter school from this time and begin their day in the classroom with a start of day learning activity.  Registration is at 8.50am, when we expect every child to be in school. 

The afternoon session always includes an 'Active 10' activity and finished with a class story.

Total number of hours per week = 32.5
